Getting ready

Well, we bought our tickets, and now we've had our shots with no serious side effects. Some of us are beginning to experience the jitters but Bonnie will only believe we're there once we've landed. The girls all got some useful stuff in their stockings - like floss, shampoo, lip gloss, etc. - very essential! Now comes some more practical stuff like doing last-minute fix-ups for Kurt and Heather who will be graciously house-sitting for us. We've communicated to Sheri & Vanessa's teachers who hopefully will prepare some work for them to do while we're over there. Things to pray for us would be that we remember everything we have to do before we leave (like doing our income tax), remember everything we have to pack, and for continuing good health and safety when we travel. Finally, that God would truly prepare our hearts and minds to hear Him clearly for His work there, for whatever He wants to do through us or even in us.
